J'ai vu ceci sur le forum Muff's modular...
Cela m'a intrigué...
THE MOEBIUS GRID
- 16 man/machine systems
- New Berlin School sequencing
- 16 sound files 8 minutes each
- one shifting triangle BPM, 66 to 132 to 66 bpm
- two mix tracks, two triangle mix waves, offset 180 degrees
- one continuously shifting mix
- one moebius looped mix 64 minutes long
so in other worlds everybody gets 8 minutes and you can select your timeframe which will start with one bpm and end with another. there will be one reaper file where you have to fit in your sequence.
bpm starts at 66 which is just above ambient and will go up to 132 bpm nice and trancey and then back to above ambient. thats still up for discussion.
now, NEW BERLIN SCHOOL is just a label for now, whatever that is is totally up to you. if you are using 12 tones think about how that fits with your comrade in arms. communication is your friend here.
the only exception is comrade 1 because his sequence is split but then he gets to start and end the mix, so that sounds fair enough for me.
your sequence will start with volume zero with your left comrade being at full blast. it will then increase to full blast while your left comrade fades out. then your right comrade will come in while you fade out. simple enough!
mixing will be totally automatic so there is quite an element of surprise. of course all sequences should be in synch on top of each other, how you do that is up to you.
the end result will be one 64 minute looped mix so you can set it on repeat and listen to it indefinitely. Moebius Loop indeed!
i will master the end result with analog compressors only, no eq or other funny business. if this turns out nice which i know it will we can easily find somebody to publish it.
in the best of cases this will end up being one of the factmag mixes so thats the level we are aiming for. [Vous devez être inscrit et connecté pour voir ce lien]
